The Core Team are the people of TXC who understand what they are a part of and that their partnership with the mission of TXC is vital to it’s movement forward.

The way we see it, there are 2 ways to view the church: A cruise ship or a battle ship.  Those with the cruise ship mentality are those who climb aboard with the mentality that they are here to be served.  If they want something, they should get it.  They don’t feel the need to contribute because afterall, they come and sit in a seat, that should be good enough.

Those with a battle ship mentality are the ones who are on the Core Team by serving in an Outlet.  They know that no matter what part they play, it is a crucial part of the whole as we continue to see people reconnected to Jesus.  When one person drops out, the rest of us feel the loss.

Serving can sometimes be a thankless job, so as a way to honor them, we host bi-montly gatherings called All Access where we will eat a good meal, relax with likeminded friends and recalibrate around our mission of “reconnecting people to Jesus”
