Giving to a church for the first time can be kind of like jumping off a cliff and not knowing what’s below you. It can be quite confusing to some and maybe some of our past experiences taint how we feel about it. If you are visiting this site for the first time I can totally understand that and I would challenge you to be our guest live a few times to feel out our church culture. It would be our hope that you could see that we aren’t focused on money but rather on hearts that are fully surrendered to Christ.

The number of people that do their banking online is increasing as time goes on so with this in mind, we are offering online giving at TXC.
We are using paypal which is an easy and totally secure way to do transactions over the internet. You don’t need to have a paypal account to give, but it only takes a few minutes and it will make giving in the future much easier. You will have the option to give with or without a paypal account once you click the “make a donation” button. You have the ability to give with your bank account, however, you can only do that if you have a paypal account. Giving with your credit card is the only option if you choose to not create a paypal account.

You’ll see below that you have the option to set up an automatic donation that will happen on a set time that you decide. This works especially well for those of us who tend to forget or who want to make sure we make giving a priority in our lives.
For some this may seem rather simple, but due to some of the phrasing it can be a bit confusing for others. So here’s a few steps to follow so that it’s as easy as possible.

Step 1. Enter the amount you want to give. If you want to just give a one time donation, click here 
If you’re wanting to set up donations that are automatically drawn out, continue on.
Step 2. Select the time period you want to give in (Day/Week/Month/Year).
(Example: To give every so many days, select (day). If you want to give a certain amount every month, select “month”.)
Step 3. Enter how often you want your donation to recur in time period you selected in step 2.
(Example: To give once a month, after selecting “month” in Step 2, select “1″ in Step 3.
Step 4. Keep this set at “until canceled”. If you are making a one time donation, it will not recur. If you have set up a recurring donation, it won’t stop until you cancel it.
(Note: if you select anything other than “until canceled” it will produce an error. It’s a bug we’re trying to iron out)
