Sometimes serving can be a very overwhelming idea because there’s the notion that once you serve, you are in for the rest of your life…no way out…stuck. We would hate for that to be thing that keeps you from using your gifts in our faith community so we want to encourage a process that will enable you to find the best fit for you.
Just start by checking something out one Sunday as an observer. You can see everything in action and see if you think it’s going to work out. Once you find something that you think would line up with your gifts/talents/abilities, commit for the next 4 month semester (serving 1x/month). If at the end of the semester you don’t feel like it is the right fit, you can just “opt out” and jump into something else. It’s not a lifetime thing (unless you want it to be!), so let the discovery process begin!

Connections Team
The vibe/culture experienced at TXC begins as soon as someone steps out of their car on Sunday morning. In the first 10 minutes a person’s mind is already made up of whether they like you or not. Our connections team is perhaps one of the most important parts of our Sunday gathering because they are the people that influence people’s perceptions first. If you want to be a part of shaping our culture as a faith community, this is one of the most influential ministries you could be a part of.
