UnderCurrents are smaller gatherings of people that are sent into our cities as transformational catalysts throughout the week. The list you see below is currently being developed.  The official launch date for our Fall Semester is October and it will conclude mid-December.  You can sign up at the bottom of this page.

Good Eats 5 (#105)

Description: Once or twice a month we and whoever else would like to join us in this venture would like to have a good eats at Street Hope.  Just make a bit extra out of the abundance of food that God has blessed us with and share with those who don’t have anything.  The other weeks in between will be at our house and we’d love to spend time talking about and praying for what’s going to be going on there.

Going Deeper (#106)

Description: A women’s group focused on going deeper in our walks of faith and community with other believers. We will use a variety of study tools such as devotionals, video materials, scripture memory, prayer etc. to pursue these goals. This group will be hinged on a desire for intimacy with God and others and a willingness to be vulnerable about our day to day need for grace and sanctification.

The Uprising (#107)

Description: An UnderCurrent where the youth of TXC can come together and form deeper friendships through various events, hanging out together and continuing on the journey of discovering who Jesus is.

Financial Peace University (#108)

Freedom From Abuse (#112)
Leaders: Gene and Gillian Drader

Description: This group in centered and focused on dealing with issues that arise those who have experienced abuse or trauma in their lives.  Through a combination of prayer and psychology we seek to bring healing, and restoration to broken lives. This group is private and confidential and all participants will interviewed before joining. The leaders of this group are Gene and Gillian Drader. The launch date is in September.
